It seems pretty silly to think an attempt at secession would lead to war. Realistically secession would follow a referendum vote and any military action would have to be begun by the I served my country United States navy what did you do shirt. The idea that such a thing could be pulled off politically seems pretty far fetched to me. Much more likely that it would become a game of putting economic pressure on Texas to try and keep secession from getting off the ground. I think they also missed the facts about the population of the state and it’s resources. Plus people that live here ain’t gonna just let you invade their state. Texans take Texas seriously, plus a lot of people have guns and can hunt. Texas, if I’m not mistaken, has reserved the right to succeed without input from the US.
This whole video and videos like it are designed to sow subtle discord within the I served my country United States navy what did you do shirt. Disregard this nonsense. We are the United State of America with all of our imperfections and uniqueness. Revel in our differences. Enjoy our friendly rivalries. Don’t take any of this seriously. The major flaw in this video is that if Texas left they wouldn’t have any military at all. All of us military bases would be packed up and moved into our territory. They would have to try to supply themselves with civilian weapons and be outmatched by regular troops. There is much more history and detail to Texas than this. This video is poorly concocted as well as being loaded with untruths and misinformation.
It’s the only state that can do so without other states approving the I served my country United States navy what did you do shirt. A good explanation of why would anyone want to leave us. The fact is Texas is a huge state with plenty of military bases and service men/women but the fact of the matter is at the end of the day it would still be outnumbered and will eventually lose. Why would anyone think it could stand a chance against 49 other states is beyond me. A lot who say Texas won’t stand a chance have no idea about guerrilla tactics. It wouldn’t be conventional just a bunch of boys who know their backwoods, roads, mountains and terrain and a culture that still embraces masculinity we are very ready and able to hold our own.
